There is one other possibility....
Distilled anise seeds. In high enough concentration, is a powerful nerve toxin.
A thousand ways to kill a guy, and half of them would have been less messy.
By picking VX, it’s a fairly small group of countries which would have had the material to use. It’ll scare the crap out of Malaysia and ensure that NK citizens are NOT that easily allowed into the country.
Still, strange no one else was affected (that we know of).>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
One of the perps almost loss consciousness immediately after. The two perps were lucky, they too were meant to die.
My wife is Japanese and watching the NHK news broadcast she told me that he had several homes, one being in Malaysia.
So apparently he was traveling from one to the other.
This story is getting constantly news coverage in Japan.
Such substances do exist. Over half of men over 55 in this country suffer from some form of cardiovascular disease. Half of men who die suddenly of coronary heart disease have had no previous symptoms. After poisoning with one of these drugs even with a thorough autopsy, the most that doctors could probably hope to find is whether someone had some form of heart disease previously. The problem is that “confirmation bias” would tend to steer the majority of coroners into believing that anyone who had one of the major risk factors had died of natural heart failure.p>
Ingestion of radioactive material would not kill that fast, only massive exposure to very high levels of gamma would. At those levels, the airport would be a graveyard.
Thanks Slim...
How fast would that kill?
Probably not very fast. A dose of radiation high enough to kill in minutes would be impossible for anyone to handle without shielding. A lower (but still lethal) dose could be handled for a period of time (depending on the dose), but would also take longer to kill. Plus, in an airport, they probably have radiation detectors.
On the other hand, there are plenty of ways to deliver a lethal dose of a chemical poison without killing the person delivering the poison.
