WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Trump administration is greatly expanding the number of people living in the U.S. illegally who are considered a priority for deportation, including people arrested for traffic violations, according to agency documents released Tuesday.
The documents represent a sweeping rewrite of the nation's immigration enforcement priorities.

From that excerpt they should be deported period. If they are here they are already committing a crime whether of their doing or not.
I agree they should ALL be deported. My question is, Has anyone been deported since Trump took over? We hear about roundups and raids. Where are the arrested persons? Who keeps track? This would be a good place for Trump to announce his results so people actually see what is happening.
And that would be a HUGE let down if he doesn’t follow through on even DACA. Loved his last news conference but when he answered the question about DACA he started to lose me.
It is actually still short of endorsing even just the laws on the books (e.g., excluding DACAs and the parents of anchor babies)—but at least it is a good start.

If he sends the parents home the kids will go with them, he is just trying to weave his way through the media OUTRAGE!!! My guess is he WILL ENFORCE e-verify like it has NEVER BEEN enforced before!!! When the jobs DRY UP our problem WILL BE SOLVED!!! Employers WILL BE paying HUGE FINES for hiring illegals and our e-verify systems WILL BE upgraded to TOP NOTCH!!!!! Employers will have to be responsible for their hiring if a false SS# comes up on their quarterly filings Katy bar the door!!! This IS the ONLY way Trump can fix the illegal immigrant situation without lawyers crawling out of the woodwork, mass demonstrations in the streets they WILL BE FORCED to go home because of NO WORK!!!! Farmers, Restaurants, construction contractors better get their ducks in a row because this IS COMING!!!!!
I agree that there should be priorities, but that doesn’t mean we can’t deport low-priority traffic offenders before we get every high priority rapist and drug dealer. Deport them all as we get them, preferably mostly felons first. But deport them all.

Why do they indicate Shop Lifting as minor? When I was 14 I was caught, had to see a parole officer, write an apology and was banned from the store for life. Nothing “minor” about it.
So, a shop lifter couldn’t likely face immediate deportation?
Oh I think they will. I would deport them if I were making the decision.
Fact is an Illegal can’t function in America without committing fraud crimes to work or receive “free stuff”.
