Much as I hate Moore and what he stands for and does, he has every right to express his views and communicate with others via a website. If he actively incites the overthrow of the government the authorities will come after him. But otherwise, he's basically doing things similar to what many of us did or supported in the 90's, the removal of BJ Clinton from office.
That said, website vandalism is pretty common. I'm sure there are FReepers who have the skills to deface or even DDoS Moore's site. Of course, such actions are illegal, so I'm not suggesting anyone do so.
Micheal Moore had, for a brief moment, some credibility.
He had predicted Trump would win the election because he understood the huge wellspring of support he had.
He has since lost that credibility by saying that Trump would not make it through the inaugeration and that the electors would defect. He even promised to pay their fines for them if they were fined for it.
He’s really trying hard to earn money off the large but shrinking group of people holding breath and stomping feet since the election.
There’s really very, very little the Left is capable of doing legally right now.

During the March for Women, at PSU, they were counter-protested by Trump supporters. Since the Pro-Trumpers had more men, their chants were definitely louder than the women's, and audible to anyone driving through town.

Michael Moore needs therapy and a lapband. Once he becomes a healthy human being, a woman may find him acceptable, his self-esteem may rise and his outlook should become more mellow. Right now, he’s about as positive a contribution to society as a bucket of vomit.
