New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is telling friends and staff he is taking a role with the Trump administration, according to a source close to the White House.
The GOP governors position has not been worked out, but he would not replace Reince Preibus as the presidents chief-of-staff, the source said.

Bridge Czar?
I could handle that job.
Oh noze - Trump may have found some use for a guy we don’t care for - Trump must be losing it - we’re all doomed!
LOL..was thinking the same thing.
He is a blowhard who can’t even run his state. He sold out his staff. Yuck!
No, just no.
Well, he’s certainly qualified! Lol
He's a lame duck governor in NJ. And he's in serious trouble over Bridgegate. Everyone in NJ -including Republicans (yes there are Republicans in NJ) - thinks he's guilty.
If I were Christie, I'd get the heck out of the country just to get a little farther away from the heat. An ambassadorship to, say, the Grand Duchy of Freedonia would suit his talents well.
On this day in February 2017, I lay down a marker saying, “This will not end well.”
He’s not likely to be facing any legal trouble for Bridgegate. In fact, there’s a good chance that the convictions of his staff members will be thrown out on appeal ... and those are people he fired on the spot anyway. I’m still trying to figure out how any of that nonsense constituted a Federal crime.
I wonder what it will be since he was ousted from the transition team already.
I do not like Christie and there are a lot of issues I don’t want him to go near. Still, he does have his strengths. If this is true and not just the usual fake news, I’ll trust that President Trump knows what he is doing.
Automobile traffic on freeways?
Head a task force to destroy the Clinton Crime Syndicate...........
Federal crime? No. Corrupt? Absolutely. The whole thing smacks of contempt for "the little people."
The charges should have been dismissed once the star witness for the prosecution -- the mayor of Fort Lee who was allegedly the target of the retribution -- admitted under cross-examination that all of the stories he had been telling in the press (including a letter to the editor that was published in the Newark Star-Ledger) about the whole episode weren't true.
