Dining at the White House is an experience but when President Trump is in office, theres not much choice involved in the matter.
According to Chris Christie, that is.

That must be Christie as a boy — before his appetite kicked in.
ha!
I`m not going to get riled up over this comment until I find out that it was anything more than light hearted, toungue in cheek banter from Christie.
As far as Christie in general, he has serious liabilities, but he also has a lot of talent. If there was a way to get one without the other, I would be all in favor of Trump finding some use for him. I don`t know if that`s possible.
Chris Creosote: "I'll have the lot."
So what’s wrong with meatloaf? I love meatloaf, especially with garlic mashed potatoes, fresh peas and gravy.
What, no onions or green pepper? Heresy!
It is Trump’s mother’s real meatloaf recipe. So Trump has a special connection to it.
No, he called the fat F a meathead. I guess deaf jokes about old bridgegate aren’t acceptable any more.
I like Meat Loaf.
Should have made him eat a small salad instead.
He could have eaten the rubber chicken.
Ain’t nothin’ wrong with meatloaf. Momma made it ever Thursday and I still think about them cold meatloaf sandwiches on white with yellow mustard in my school lunchbox on Friday. Momma used oatmeal instead of bread crumbs...
An interesting change up is using tuna instead of beef. Same recipe except it’s tuna. From oven to refrigerator and the next day... cold tuna loaf on white with mustard. Wow!
Sorry there governor, but you just don’t strike me as a fussy eater...
I just told my husband about this story, and he laughed and laughed just like I did. I would love to have some good Scottish meatloaf with the president. :-)
I was going to say that meatloaf made by a WH level chef must be great. Now that I see the recipe ... that wouldn’t hold a candle to my meatloaf regardless of my lack of culinary training.
Hey, he also got his foie gras and parfait. Two out of three ain’t bad.
Yep, when someone does that it is a sign of affection.
But really, who wouldn’t have liked to invite Christie to lunch, tell the group that they can order anything they want, and then tell Christie that he has to have the meatloaf?
It’s good to be president!
Is this in the category of not really news?
So, did Christie agree that the meatloaf was fabulous?
I like Meat Loaf, too. One of the best YouTubes ever made is his video, “Objects in the Rear View Mirror May be Closer than they Seem.”

Anyone who hasn’t seen it should have a look!
