>thousands upon thousands of unemployed government workers<

.
You would not say that unless you know what it is like to be unemployed. I would not wish unemployment on my worst enemy.

How can you expect mercy when you have none?

They can get regular unemployment for 26 weeks just like any other person they put out of work for the past 28 years.

That's a hell of a lot more merciful than government employees deliberately working to destroy entire industries, take away farms, businesses, homes from US citizens who just want to live their lives, and have done nothing wrong.

thousands upon thousands of unemployed government workers

You WOULD say this if you understood that the greatest threat to our Free Constitutional Republic and the #1 political problem in America is the 70% to 80% unconstitutional portion of the $4 trillion federal government. Getting the federal government back to being actually constitutional would mean exactly what SpaceBar posted: hundreds of thousands of officials, bureaucratic heads, and government workers sent home packing with no job.

Don't cry too many tears. Our economic engine would soon be so revved up that these folks' problem would be choosing which job opening they should take.

Also, most if not all of them are probably covered by some kind of insane government pension so we pay them 'till Moses no matter what they do. That's bad and needs fixing. But having them gone from D.C. is probably the best thing that could happen to America politically and economically.

ALL who have worked for the overthrow of our government, servants of Globalism are not worthy of a job. Turn about is fair play. They should be tried and in some cases hung for subversion and traitorous acts.

The Federal Government is about 5 times bigger than it should be. That is a fact. It is doing things never considered NOR AUTHORIZED by the United States Constitution.

The only way to fix it in most cases is to close it down. And we know that many of these people spend their day moving stuff from the in basked to the out basket, or the electronic equivalent thereof. They add no value to us, the taxpayers.

Many are leftists and hate the USA even as they get their paycheck from it.

If they are good at a useful task, they will be able to fund gainful employment quickly. And they will still keep their unbelievably fat pensions (if vested). Now they will have to be like everyone else and pay a large chunk for their benefits.

No pity here, more like “welcome to the Real World, folks.”

God willing 10s of thousands will join them over the next year or so.
