/src on/Diversity Is Strength!/src off/ Resada is now almost majority Hispanic and majority foreign born. From a typical middle class white San Fernando Valley town to Little Latina America.

From a typical middle class white San Fernando Valley town to Little Latina America In one generation to boot. Think 1980 for the old Val Girl Reseda.

I owned a house 4 blocks from that school from 1966 to 1995. The entire neighborhood was white, middle class.
I was advised to not go see my old house when I made a rip thee in 1998. I didn’t.
The entire area is overwhelming Hispanic, and it isn’t safe for any white female like me to travel thee.

Probably another Mexican vs the blacks race riot. That happens frequently in L.A. Unified School District.

One of my friends moved from Granada Hills to Northridge while we were in High School, He went to Cleveland for 11.12th grades. It was ALL Upper Middle Class Whites for the most part, just like Kennedy High was

While viewing the film of the school brawl, some parents noticed no adults were stepping in to stop the fights.
Maybe the adults thought if they DID intervene by touching any student in any manner, that adult would be unemployed and possibly locked up in a cell before the end of the week.
At very least, some student would suddenly decided to remember that they had been ‘groped’ by that adult.
This would be a student whose family is hoping to hit the lottery with a big cash settlement.

Blaming the gangs? I think not.
Gangs bring guns. With a crowd that big, if the gangs in that area had been involved there would have been bodies every where.

My wife works in a local HS and the entire staff is instructed to NOT get involved.
Let the thugs fight it out and wait for security to handle it.
This is the same school district my wife and I graduated from in '66 ... few if any minorities, no security, no cop sub-substations, no pregnant students, no teachers getting punched, etc. Ain't diversity great?

It is likely that they have metal detectors, so it may actually be gangs. They infest the schools in order to sell drugs and recruit new members.

I love that song. But there is no Freeway in Reseda. It runs through my ancestral hometown of Tarzana.

This event did not happen. The school has a diverse student population. And we know for a fact that as long as diversity is present there is only peace and harmony.

I love that song. But there is no Freeway in Reseda. It runs through my ancestral hometown of Tarzana. Tom Petty is from Gainesville, Florida. He's either unfamiliar with the geography of the area, or he thought Reseda sounded better lyrically than Tarzana.
