He has a lot on his plate. I’m uncomfortable with our national debt but I’m not sure it’s fair to DJT to hand him this giant mess and then take away his credit. For example, rebuilding the military is important and that isn’t going to be cheap. as job creation proceeds, the need to rely on credit will decrease. As long as he isn’t wasting money, I’m content for now.

Before I address what you stated, you sparked me wanting to address now what I had contemplated earlier today when on this subject.

Note that Obama’s spending didn’t enhance our military, our infrastructure, or anything else that we need to remain a strong engaged nation.

As for the debt, Trump is a smart enough guy to be able to reduce our spending to make up for things we must do. Yes we’ll spend more on the military, but he’s also going to save us on Welfare and many other things. At the same time he is going to literally explode government receipts, because a massive influx of new jobs will mean massive new tax receipts. It will also mean far less outlay for folks who aren’t working.
