OK Curiosity landed in 2011, but during the Bush years we landed two (Spirit and Opportunity). So that's 2-1, we win!!!
It can take 10-20 years to plan, conduct, and execute a space program of this magnitude. The only credit that Obama can take on this program is the possibility that he voted as a junior senator for funding to continue the program. Chances are the only thing he did was show up for a photo op.
