Not really.
I once had a small cat and had to give him back to his breeder because he proved to be a danger to my snakes.
Boas and pythons are virtually defenseless against attacks by just about everything.
I do not allow small children to hold my snakes, either.
They tend to be too rough and snakes are fragile.
