I can support a “Day without Wetbacks”
The only people offended by the word wetbacks are criminals and their supporters...so who cares?
We all need to take note of these restaurants and businesses that close today and stop using them from now on. Show THEM our protest!
I managed to survive the day without Mexicans in CA. Plenty of other folks know how to make tacos.
Everyone pick up this load toward educating the trendy upon the difference between a bonafide immigrant desiring to join the U.S., and a claim jumper wanting the benefits without any investment.
Maybe diners should avoid Rick’s restaurants out of respect for the law.

It takes three months to get reservations for his Chicago trendy restaurants, so no big deal, but here’s a little tip.
If you’re in Chicago, there’s a quaint little gourmet Meixican place on Wells Street called Salpicon. You can get reservations anytime, and the food is better, yes better than Bayless, and you payless.
His cheap wetback labor decided to take the day off. Note to ICE: target rich environment.

Does that mean a day without drunk driving, manslaughter and rape too?
This is rich; all of these “legal” employees get the day off without pay; while the illegals will be hanging out at Home Depot parking lot waiting for someone to pick them up for day labor.

If he wants to close his restaurant for a day to make a statement about his love of illegal aliens, I suggest we all help him to keep them closed indefinitely so he can really make it a BIG statement.
Just another wanna be celebrity. How in the world a hack cook can get such ink is the fault of the media. This guy is nothing. And his closing a couple of businesses means the same: nothing. Maybe the dog catchers should close their trucks that day to support the strikers. Maybe the sewer emergency trucks should not run. also.
I’ve got a better idea. Maybe the liberal media should shut down that day and not show anything. That would be constructive and it would contain the same wanna be celebrities.
