Man, wouldn’t it be cool to have an OpFor Carrier, complete with it’s own AIRWING..!
No wonder! They had to keep the thing plugged in.
That would be a huge hastle.
I’d unplug it too.
They need one that runs on cheese.
“:^)
Or maybe a BlackWater carrier..?!
Just dreaming.
I thought Brazil was rather reflexively anti U.S.
Am I wrong in that?
Brazil’s top priority should be to build a wall to keep out Venezuelans.
I don’t think this is the one although it might be but there was a carrier for sale on eBay years ago and we had a lot of fun here on FR imagining we could buy it and use for FR.
Their best best is to find a carrier thatt runs on despair and crime. Like nuclear rods, it would be years beford they ran out of fuel.
But really: Brazil is Brazil, with nukes.
When I was around 5, a barge was found abandoned in Panama City or nearby. They had a picture in the paper and it looked like a perfectly good one. This was around 1952.
It was auctioned off for a dollar. I remember thinking that I could have begged my parents for that much and how neat it would have been to have my own barge to play on.
Thanks. That’s my take on it too.
Despair and crime..., pretty funny. Sad too isn’t it.
I trained the Brazilians on those A-4s back in 1999-2000. The are actually Kuwaiti A-4KUs
Found it! Wow 2004. Time is flying. It only seemed like yesterday we had visions of FR force projection. :)

A4s are as old as the carrier. IIRC that is what McCain flew in Vietnam.
a true workhorse that excelled in anything it was ask to do
Somebody is still flying A-4s???
Great plane! Did my first low-power turn in a Skyhawk...:)
To put it into perspective Brazil flys the A4, the same plane Senator McInsane flew and was shot down in Vietnam 50 years ago.
They could have a couple of our old ones so we can build new ones for ourselves.
