Cruz campaigned for the Trump ticket. Your statement that he didn’t try to defeat Hillary Clinton is patently false.
Didn’t I ask you to prove he campaigned for Trump more than one day?

On the issue of him actually endorsing Trump, I have changed my comments to reflect what he actually did. As I told you before, that had not been my understanding.
So if you can’t provide evidence of him campaigning for Trump for a broad spectrum of time, you’re going to be hung by your own claim.
Don’t come back to me with one hour of phone calls on September 23rd. Don’t come back to me with the three events he participated in on November 5th. We are all aware of them.
We’re also aware that just three days before the General Election, he refused to say the name Trump at his first of three public appearances.
