I’ve tried reading it both ways, and I’m not convinced that Bannon wasn’t leaving room for the MSM to redefine themselves DOWN even more. God knows they do have that capacity. Just when you think they’ve got as low as can be they go lower.

Bannon is just a few years older than me, so he probably grew up saying and hearing the sarcastic "I could care less", too. I'm not sure anything more than that can be read into it, but only Bannon knows for sure.
