Top Republican senators, including Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, said Tuesday that Congress should probe the circumstances leading up to the resignation of Michael Flynn as President Trump’s national security adviser, opening a new and potentially uncomfortable chapter in the uneasy relationship between Trump and congressional Republicans.
McConnell (R-Ky.) told CNN Tuesday that it is “highly likely” that the Senate Intelligence Committee will examine Flynn’s actions. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), vice chairman of the Senate GOP Conference and a member of the Intelligence Committee, said lawmakers ought to look at the matter as part of an existing probe into Russian meddling in the United States political system — a sensitive topic that has lingered over Republicans since Trump’s election victory.

All Flynn had to do was admit it was a mistake, apologize and move on.
the media has tens of thousands of reporters, websites , TV networks , millions of media outlets to constantly attack Trump. Trump is one guy and it trying to work hard to help America. He does fight back on twitter against some attacks . he doesn't own a TV network FYI.

Trump is highly outnumbered by the MSM and politicians. HE cannot afford to make the slightest mistake or he will lose. And when he loses, you and I will lose and all his great plans to MAGA will all go up in smoke. MY concern is that he takes things too lightly and is over confident. The honeymoon is over (there never was one) and the winning requires much more effort on his part than it did a month ago. Things have changed drastically and I hope he realizes it and adjust his actions accordingly. There is too much at stake for the country and the most important programs seem to be left behind. The creation of Jobs, jobs, jobs (the platform that put him in the WH) does not seem to have the same importance any more because he is being distracted by unforeseen problems.
