Trump won the Presidency but they won’t let him be President. That’s what I have concluded with this and the Flynn thing

Obama did whatever he wanted.

When (occasionally) a judge told him to stop, Obama ignored the judge. The fake-news MSM cheered.

In her 22-page ruling, Brinkema said the Trump administration offered no justification for the travel ban, and wrote that the president’s executive power “does not mean absolute power.”

I’ve read the law in question. And that law gives the president the authority to ban certain classes of aliens from entering the country.

Numerous other presidents, of both parties, have exercised authority to ban certain people at certain times.

I also don’t see how the president has to provide “justification” to a judge, in order to exercise authority under this law.

And I don’t understand why other presidents were not sued for their use of their authority under this law.

Pres. Trump is obligated to ignore these unconstitutional rulings. He has too.

What we need is a 911 attack to kick everyone in the arse. And we will blame these judges. Yes, we will blame them because inaction can result in deaths just as much as a war.

The blood will be on their hands.

Past time to amend the Constitution. No lifelong appointments. Good reason to amend, the process has been abused.

Case in point

I certainly pray that we DON’T have a terror attack. I would hate to see innocent people die as a result of these judges.

I hope there are no terrorist attacks on our nation but, if a terrorist kills someone here in the US, I prefer it’s one of the terrorist’s enablers instead of an innocent person.

Congress should be stepping up to the plate, should they not? How about the state legislatures and Governors?

The courts are NOT the final arbiter of how this country is run. Especially activist judges.

Agreed. About the only good news might be that it wouldn’t happen in red state flyover country. It would probably happen right in the heart of Liberal central such as NYC, LA, San Fran all of which hate Trump along with the rest of us.

Sigh. This may or rather likely will not end well.

The judiciary is supposed to be an apolitical balance to the other branches of government. But now at least some of them have clearly gone political. See Venezuela for an example of where this might end.

What I think might happen next:

(1) The SCOTUS slaps these lower judges down. No real damage plus restoration of Constitunal Authority and the Rule of Law. Sadly, I believe this is the least likely event to occur.

(2) The SCOTUS supports these lower judges.

(a) Trump obeys. Well, now we are ruled over by a judiciary, not our elected Executive and Congress. Yes, some people think that has already happened, and to an extent they are correct, but this would be a whole new level of oppression by unelected officials. There is a word for that. (Note: If this happens, I’ll probably end up in some gulag or at least be stripped of all my professional licenses just because of this comment. Not kidding, I’ve read my history.)

(b) Trump tells them to GTH. And he can. Then he has near absolute power. While I really don’t think Trump would abuse that power, the implications for when another Obama type gets “elected” terrifies me.

(3) A full-on Constitutional Crisis leading to a Convention. Anyone who thinks they know how that will play out is an idiot.

(4) Violence. The leftscum have already gone there at a low level, we just have not answered. If we do, well, it will get bloody.

Some of these are not mutually exclusive.

Just my thoughts. Others?

Of course, we know there is absolutely nothing unconstitutional about it. Liberals are going to work this game on everything president Trump does. They’re despicable.

Obama could do whatever he wanted because he knew no one would hold him accountable.

President Trump, on the other hand, has a multitude of Washington DC officials, including members of his own party, waiting with bated breath for an impeachable moment.

He’s navigating though a mine field.

They are suing in most of the court districts, just not the ones where they do not own the judges.
