Ivanka should just have her own web site and not depend on these limp wristed soon to be bankrupt retailers. For customers who want to try to look and feel of her merchandise, she can open a few retail outlets here and there, but that’s it.
Bezos must be laughing his ass off! Brick and Mortar outlets are committing hara-kiri on behalf of Amazon!
I seem to have read that they have been dumping customers as well, for some time now...
We had 2 K mart’s both are now closed, Sears not far behind.
Americans join together in dropping Sears, Kmart.
They were going under long BEFORE this decision.
Now, they've assured themselves of sinking even SOONER, rather than later.
Good riddance to INEPT marketers and retailers.
Management by Press Release. It seems like they are playing to the news media but it will backfire because the news media is not interested in the well-being of Sears beyond the ability of Sears to buy commercials. I guess since Sears isn’t buying ads then they can be sacrificed for the politics of the people who control the media.
I didn’t know there was a Trump home line including furniture, etc. Sears and Kmarts are few and far between and they usually don’t smell very good either. I’d stop shopping there but I already don’t shop there. So many of these companies and celebrities overestimate their importance.
The few times in the last few years where I went to Sears on a last ditch chance of finding something that I couldn’t somewhere else (they didn’t have it either), I saw 10 checkout positions with only one open.
Sears performance over the past years shows how far they have lost the the folks in rural areas, lower middle class whites, etc. Who were the mainstay of Sears since its inception.
Many felt the loss of the Sears catalog business when they did their business in the outhouse. They have been drifting away for years and Sears floundered financially.
Unfortunately for Sears, those are the same folks who voted for Trump.
I haven’t shopped at either for years. nuff said
Sears and Kmart are still in business? Who knew!
