Love that CD. Always got a kick playing it for my parents and grandparents. They would joke they were "into" heavy metal.

I remember that. Years earlier he covered songs like
Tutti Frutti Many people thought it was at best corny, but Mr. Boone explained that it was his way of showing the parents at the time that "race music" their teenaged kids were listening to, or as it was derogatorily called "screaming n****r music" really wasn't so bad. If anything one could call Pat a LIBERAL for having this view.

Many, many years ago, my Sister knew one of his backup singers. I went to the concert at Blossom Music Center, and met his daughter. Fell instantly in love!
