I had to take the Valentine arrangement to Arlington Cemetery before I left the DC area. I took my lunch and sat for a while on a bench nearby. When I sent a text to my daughter telling her where I was, she replied “say hello to Dad for me!” I was doing fine until then. 20 years now, it is a long time.
The Wreaths Across America were still in place and so there was lots of “red” to be seen in all the areas.
I ran into the nicest man! An employee here at the cemetery, who runs the crematorium. He just gave me a grand tour of the cremator and of important graves. More later.
