The whole 501(c)(3) / 501(c)(4) needs a massive revisit and redesign IMHO, aka look what Team Trump did Filling Early for 2020 last week to stop the 501's from swapping money around and using it against him, cross check into the boards too George Soro's, luv it. Yes a 501c3 can make a profit, they just can't give it back to a shareholders.
And my firm belief is that the profit manifests itself in the form of exorbitant salaries and benefits for the principals (CEOs, et al), which THEN makes its way back to the Democrats in the form of massive political donations.
