Call me old-fashioned but with majorities on each side of Congress why aren’t they being enlisted to write an airtight law that obviates an EO?

I am beyond sick of the modern incarnation of the House and Senate as merely the Greek chorus for The Imperial Presidency and sick of seeing them on my TV. The Capitol rotunda is 100x busier than either chamber.

It doesn’t matter what law is written when we have lawless courts.

They can do whatever they want for any reason they want without consequence.

And also, let’s be fair to the Republican congress.

They are a bunch scared, little weenies who can’t do anything other than pee their pants all day long.

That law exists. That’s why the court is so far out of line - they ignored the clear meaning of the law.

Bitch and PRyno are continuing to be derelict in their duties. The whole Congress is largely a buncha lazy bast@rds.

Probably because it is already written as a plain spoken law......and they ignored it.

Courts are already ignoring the existing airtight law that made this an executive function.

1. Because they already wrote an airtight law. It's the law that gave the President of the United States the authority to do exactly what Trump did with his EO.

2. Because the whole purpose of giving the President of the United States the authority to issue such an EO is to eliminate the need to have Congress reconvene every time a nation needs to be added to (or removed from) the list of nations covered by the travel restrictions.

They want to impeach him too so they can have Pence. Don’t kid yourself, Trump isn’t just fighting the Democrats

I’ve spent some “quality time” in the late evening watching the Senate “vote” on the various nominees. If you want to see something that is truly a disgrace, go to CSPAN and “tune in!” You will need additional BP medication and a barf bag. ALL OF THEM, both parties are just two buckets of $hit in the same room. If this is the substance of how the US Senate works, I am for abolishing it, or at least removing each and every Senator and starting over!
