The 2020 election could put the two biggest names in the Democratic Party on a collision course.
Democratic bigwigs are already rumbling about a Kennedy vs. Clinton showdown, should Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand set her sights on the White House in 2020. Both contenders would be former First Daughters: Chelsea Clinton and Caroline Kennedy.

I believe there is a lot of bad blood between the Kennedy Clan and the Clintons. The Kennedys were earlier backers of Obama in 2008.

Silly Gilly? LOL, hasn’t accomplished a single thing as Senator, just like Hilllary - perfect.
That’s what the Dems are down to in NYS? I think that would be a total hoot for the rest of us. And, what makes Gillibrand think she’d be a good presidential candidate, or that she’d fare any better than Hillary Clinton?
I really don’t see this happening ... Chelsea would have to at least have held a Congressional seat and I don’t see Nita Lowry stepping aside for her as she did for her mother in the ‘00 Senate race. Everyone saw how well even the mention of appointing Caroline Kennedy to Hillary’s vacated seat went, tho she now has an Ambassadorship under her belt.
Nonetheless, it would be great fun to watch.

For Chelsea Clinton, who has done absolutely nothing with her life other than do a make-work job at her parent's money-laundering operation of a foundation, to think that she is qualified to run for the Senate, takes some chutzpah, even for a Clinton.
Oh please, please, please... Could there be any better way for the Democrats to show they’ve become the party of people who imagine they’re entitled royalty? Maybe they could get a Udall or a Bayh on the ticket, too.
