The best thing would be for the Republicans to meet in continuous session until they get Gorsuch confirmed, hopefully in time that Trump can appeal this order.
They are breaking the laws of immigration...it is just a short jump to break the laws of controlling immigration.
I thank you for your response. It brought up a point about cancelling Visa(s). I would like Trump to issue an EO saying no one enters the country with or without a Visa unless they are a US Citizen. That would put the Libs in a tight spot. Can’t claim discrimination as it affects everyone.
The ninth circuit has substituted its’ own judgement for the judgement of the President, in blatant disregard of the US Code. Because they could. Time to make it so they can’t. If Congress does not stop this out of control Judiciary we are done as a nation.

I agree but it will be a long process since federal judges have lifetime appointments and the Constitution does not allow ex post facto laws that would alter the situation for currently seated judges.
In my humble opinion, a good way to begin to change the judiciary is via the Senate confirmation process.
Through a variety of methods, including the Senate Blue Slip where the Senators from a judicial nominee’s home state can stop an appointment from going forward, the Senate Republicans blocked literally hundreds of potential Obama appointments although Obama was able to get 239 federal judges confirmed.
Any other changes would probably mean amending the Constitution and its very difficult to accomplish that.
No, it doesn't. An equally divided court treats ends the case, but is otherwise as if the Supreme Court never took the case. In this case, it means the ruling would apply only in the States within the Ninth Circuit.

I say President Trump should cool his heels...get his nominee into the Supreme Court and if something happens before his nominee is confirmed then Trump can easily pin the murders on the donkey!
