When you think the Middle East is a Game of Thrones on steroids one sees this. Hamas is a proxy of Iran although relation were strained during the so-called Arab Spring. Iran and ISIS are enemies in the Syria/Iraq theater but somehow the two groups find a common enemy in Israel and Egypt.

Hamas is the Palestinian Arab offshoot of the violent Islamic terrorist Muslim Brotherhood.

Although the Egyptian army has had some trouble with ISIS in the Sinai, overall they’ve been winners. The problem will be if these jihadis start attacking the cities where the Muslim Brotherhood is still strong.
