Many here don’t care what he has to say, and would prefer him to be silent, just like the left. They hate him because he’s homosexual, which defies the stereotype of the conservative Republican, a suburban married guy with a boobalicious wife.
One of my sisters is a lesbian. The last time I saw her was when one of my other sisters died. The entire family traveled to Florida and spent some days together. She told me that she now believes that her choice was a mistake (she’s in her 50s), that she loves her partner as a friend but they no longer have a physical relationship, and made a statement regarding my husband, who was walking down the driveway with us. We all laughed. She doesn’t believe that she can abandon her partner at this point in her life. I understand that. She asked me what I thought of her being a lesbian. I told her that I thought that it was wrong. She seemed to respect that. We hugged and both said that we loved each other. Life is full of conflict and misunderstandings. I’m just glad that we can laugh and express our love for each other as family.

Oh please, are we not all sinners, in some way? Mostly unrepentant ones too. I’m not in favor of this behavior, or any sinful behavior, but I do understand that everyone is a sinner.
