CNN has been caught handing a out question to a member of the audience instructing her what to ask Ted Cruz during Tuesday nights debate with Bernie Sanders about the future of Obamacare.
The Question that was read by Carol Hardaway:
"I have multiple sclerosis but could not afford insurance without the treatment or medications i need, i had problems with walking, with my speech, and my vision. When the affordable care act was passed I moved from our home state of Texas because they refused to expand Medicaid to Maryland and within 2 weeks I started receiving treatments through Medicaid and am now well enough to work as a substitute teacher.
Senator Cruz, can you promise me that you and the Republican leaders in congress will have actually have a replacement plan in place for people like me who depend on their Medicaid? In other words, I like my coverage, can I keep it?"
Below is a close up of the question that was asked to Senator Ted Cruz. The email is from a Gmal account as you can see from the top of the paper. The subject line reads Your Question, as the two photographs below show.

If the only thing that ‘matters’ is ‘winning’ then why not do a Stalin thing and kill a few million people who dare to disagree with you? Or put ‘judges’ in courts who decided to ‘legislate’ from the bench? Like liberals do.
It’s not that conservatives don’t know how to be monsters and liars and cheats like liberals are - it’s that we’d rather live in a country worth living in.
Maybe CNN and liberals should move to corrupt hellholes - the world’s full of them... why destroy what we have here?
Few people take the time to watch CNN. They are full of left wing bias, not news.
politics is nasty precisely because it involves primal naked power over individuals and over what they care about.
Yeah, that’s WHY we have laws.
I agree with everything you said.
Of course Cruz is well aware of your first point, but was reluctant to explicitly go there because he felt he would lose it with that audience and the media would use it as headline the next day. “Cruz Against Covering Preexisting Conditions”.
This is an example of a more general political axiom. “Never ever provide a benny you don’t intend to maintain in the long run because you will never be able to take it away politically.”
Of course Republicans had nothing to do with providing it in the first place, still I think they’re stuck with it.
Another reason to hate the media. They prevent us from having actual, honest debate.
Also unemployed, for most of his life, until he was somehow elected mayor of Burlington, Vt, then somehow catapulted that to being a US Senator. This is an amazing country, we live in.
If you belong to any church, you should look into a religious insurance alternative.
They are excellent choices.
Here is what she said: “”I have multiple sclerosis but could not afford insurance without the treatment or medications I need, I had problems with walking, with my speech, and my vision. When the affordable care act was passed I moved from our home state of Texas, because they refused to expand Medicaid, to Maryland and within 2 weeks I started receiving treatments through Medicaid and am now well enough to work as a substitute teacher.”
So, basically no treatment, problems with walking, speech, and vision, and unable to work.”
Didn’t catch it yet. Just heard about CNN feeding the Marxist idiot questions in advance.
Having read your link, I get the impression that several fixes were developed some time after the original rejection by some states of Medicaid expansion took place. She probably moved early on before these fixes were put in place, having no ability to foresee the future. We now have the 20/20 vision of hindsight.
I thought Cruz demolished Bernie. I haven’t really cared for Cruz, and really didn’t leading up to the election, but he has gained some favor with me. No matter what ones feelings are, he is a good speaker, and has a knack for explaining the issues. He did a great job.
Be glad we have folks like Trump, Cruz, Coulter, Steyn, Buchanan, Milo, Project Veritas, Jones, and others that will go into those monsters’ lairs and take the fight to them. The media’s tricks are wearing very thin as the election and every day since has shown.
Do you remember when the people gave the House to GOP in an effort to stop ObamaCare from getting entrenched? What happened? Boehner rushed though a continuing resolution to fund every bit of it. Same thing happened two years later when the people gave the Senate to the GOP. Not to mention that they allowed Obama to postpone the worst parts of ObamaCare until he left office.
Politics is exactly like the WWE and they have the same audience.
But that’s exactly my point...
“This is an example of a more general political axiom. Never ever provide a benny you dont intend to keep in the long run because you will never be able to take it away politically.
This pre-existing condition coverage will be very difficult politically to undo. We will see.
There is no such thing as health care insurance, there is only distributed cost payments. The solution is easy, decide how much will be spent then evenly distribute the payments across the population. This is exactly what the insurance companies try to do now, minus their cut of course.
It’s ridiculous, especially on a site that touts itself as constitutionally conservative.
That is what Obamacare is doing now, which is exactly why it is broken. That is not "insurance" — insurance is effectively made illegal.
If you are born with some degenerative disease or something like that, you shouldn't be penalized.
If you have "something like that", I (and all your other neighbors) should be penalized instead.
Got it. Socialism in a nutshell.
