So.hey I am illegal..I am breaking the law..I am practicing law..but all okay because CA said it is okay to break the law??

I cant wrap my head around it

I asked my daughter. She is an attorney. It is required to disclose all prior and present legal matters even applying for law school. Also before the bar exam. The reporting is to the ethics board. Not the courts.

So it is a matter for the state ethics board. The ethics boards are political in leanings. So now you know.

Also most legislators choose to let their licenses lapse while in office. The expense of keeping current is not a small one. They reinstate if voted out of office to go back into law.
