Prosecute the Rioters

From time to time over the years, the eminent historian Daniel Pipes has lamented that treason, not just as a crime but as a concept, appears defunct in the West. The question of bringing treason charges against jihadists has been raised from time to time. Often its very asking proves Dr. Pipes’s point: Most radical Islamic terrorists are not American citizens; as to them, treason is not a cognizable offense because traitorous conduct is central to the crime. Even against American jihadists, a treason charge is of dubious usefulness. The 1996 overhaul of federal counterterrorism law codified crimes tailored to terrorism that are easier to prove than treason. The aim of an indictment in a national-security case should be the surest route to the severest sentence. The point is not to teach a civics lesson, regrettable as our education system’s default has been in that regard

That’s going to be difficult because ... none were arrested.

Prosecute them to the full extent of existing law. But it would be much cheaper and would achieve results sooner and more surely to institute a policy of shooting rioters. When there are a few within a group of “protesters” who are doing the damage, shoot the masked men. Snipers on buildings would be the most efficient for that. If the group is or becomes a Mob and most or all are involved in the destruction then the modern equivalent of that “whiff of grape” is appropriate. It will only have to be done twice- the first time will get much outrage and will tie up the courts and cause much more rioting. The second time, especially if the courts or Court must be ignored to do it, will end the rioting all over outside of the normal background noise of Moslem shoot-ups and bombings, if they are still unexiled.

Either the governments starts upholding the rule of law or there are going to be a pile of leftist corpses at one of these riots before too long.

The common thread to this lawlessness is SOROS and the web of leftist scum. He needs to be gone. Who has the nuts to do it? Furthermore, enforcing to the highest degree the existing laws will work wonders. POTUS Trump and AG Sessions will help this cause. We are witnessing a low grade civil war and revolution. This needs to be put to rest for the life of our great republic.

President Trump should start the process in Congress to require that law and order be enforced threw out America. If found not to be by any law agency in America they will lose federal funding to that entity. And the Justice Department may investigate.

DC went easy on the black-bloc types on January 19th. What happened on the 20th was a direct result. There was plenty of behavior that warranted arrests on Thursday night. On Friday, 230 arrests stopped all of it, with no repeat on the 21st. Black Bloc types rarely number that many, and don’t seem capable of putting up much of a fight. They have been encouraged by all the passive response by police. One object thrown, one fire, or one busted piece of property should result in a physical response and arrests.

"Contemporary youth are being conditioned that one can do *anything* as long as they explain it was a protest."

A LEFT-WING protest, that is.

No matter how much mayhem, the MSM scramble to explain and rationalize that these leftist demonstrations are "mostly peaceful" or that the violence was done by "non-students" or "outsiders" or "people who weren't part of the demonstration."

But remember how the MSM will malign the entire Tea Party movement or Trump campaign on the basis of ONE alleged racial slur coming from the back of a large crowd?

Those rioters should be met with the same stuff Ronald Reagan instructed the CHP and Berkley police to use.

These days, the Berkley administration bows to the protesters after they riot to the tune of $100k in damages.
No one was arrested.

In 1969, President Reagan ordered the CHP and Berkeley police to “use whatever method they choose against the protesters”.

They used buckshot and tear gas.

One POS was killed and an estimated 128 were admitted to hospitals.

Then he sent in the National Guard.

When pressed by the libs from the media to negotiate, Reagan replied, “There’s nothing to negotiate !”

There was a little riot In New Orleans on January 20. The local cops and state troopers managed to arrest 15 of them and charged them with:

14 for inciting a riot

14 for prohibited masking

11 for felony criminal damage to property

4 for misdemeanor battery

One for felony battery

Those are some pretty serious charges. It was pretty quiet the next night and has been since then.
