Obama Pentagon Official Says Anti-Trump Military Coup Now Possible Says Trump ‘as crazy as everyone feared’; claims military overthrow and ‘an insane order’ both ‘frightening’

A former Defense Department official under the Obama administration has raised the specter of a military coup to remove President Donald Trump from power.
In an editorial penned for Foreign Policy, senior Pentagon policy official Rosa Brooks publicly suggested a military insurrection against the Trump administration may be the only option to oust one of the most divisive presidents in American history.
“Donald Trump’s first week as president has made it all too clear: Yes, he is as crazy as everyone feared,” Ms. Brooks wrote. “[One] possibility is one that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America: a military coup, or at least a refusal by military leaders to obey certain orders.”
For the first time in her career in public service, including three years as senior counselor to the Pentagon’s policy chief from 2009 to 2011, “I can imagine plausible scenarios in which senior military officials might simply tell the president: ‘No, sir. We’re not doing that.’”
Ms. Brooks‘ editorial comes as a recent poll by Public Policy Polling group found that 40 percent of registered voters support Mr. Trump’s impeachment. In addition, 52 percent of voters polled said they would rather have President Obama in the Oval Office, opposed to the 43 percent who support the Trump presidency.
In the editorial, Ms. Brooks noted that Mr. Trump’s “thin-skinned, erratic, and unconstrained” approach to defense matters of defense could put top U.S. military leaders in a position where they would be forced to execute orders that may be “dangerously unhinged” from a basic understanding of national security.

This woman is a lawyer who served in an appointed position at obama’s Pentagon. She has no military experience and her insights into military culture, especially wrt something as anathema to senior military as a coup, are worthless and based on liberal wet dreams.
The woman is nothing more than a liberal law hack who was hired by the Obama administration as a Political Officer stationed in the Pentagon. Kind of like how the Russians always had a political officer on board their submarines.
Never in the military, no distinguished history of DoD service, nor anything of the sort. Other than the direction from Obama to the Pentagon and spying on the Pentagon for Obama, she KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT the military with the exception of know who in the Pentagon is a quisling and who is not.
Quite plainly, she is just talking out her ass as she had been directed to do from those LOSERS who didn’t understand the real America, or its military. If she truly did, she’d understand how completely asinine and ridiculous her mind-spew is.

I know Obama gutted our military but I seriously doubt that they would be a part of a coup against our government and our nation. If so, then the population will need to become the military and lots of people are armed in America.

The military coup was back in 2009 when the usurper Obama was installed into the white house. Sworn oaths to defend the Constitution were abandoned.
Which leads in inexorably to the question: why was the daughter — or any relative of Barbara Ehrenreich — ever hired as an advisor to the US military?

I always thought a military coup against 0bama would have been appropriate, as much as I DESPISE saying that, since he really was a Domestic enemy of America. That said, I'm glad it didn't happen.
Given how much Clinton hated the military, it wouldn't have been too surprising, but it would have been less warranted, IMHO, than against 0bama. JMHO, and thank GOD all of the above is theoretical anyway.
