A San Antonio man who was freed from life in prison by President Barack Obama is back behind bars after allegedly crashing his vehicle into another motorist and undercover police cars while fleeing from a drug deal Thursday. Robert M. Gill, 68, whose life sentence for cocaine and heroin distribution conspiracy was commuted by Obama and expired in 2015, was profiled last year in the Express-News about his readjustment to life on the outside...He again faces a potential sentence with a mandatory minimum, five years, and could get up to 40.

The media pretended “non-violent drug offenders” were users rather than dealers; dealers kill people daily and deserve life imprisonment (at the very least).

I read about that one, just a few weeks ago.
In my mind’s ear, I heard “The Loser Tuba; from The Price Is Right.”
I actually give OTrauma a tiny bit of credit here. He could have totally abused the Pardon privilege; he did not.
This is what I expected, because he was so lawless and ‘non-traditional’.
1) A blanket pardon of every one of his staff and administration, to include Hillary Clinton.
2) A blanket pardon of every single Federal felon or misdemeanant — provided the person could show a drop of black African blood — with the justification that “the system has been too spiked against the black man, we need a reset!”
Neither happened, which actually surprised me.

Give him the 40 year sentence. He will never learn to conduct himself on the outside. Let him spend out his remaining years behind bars.
