The Louvre museum in Paris has been evacuated after what the French Ministry of the Interior has called a “serious public security event” in which a number of soldier opened fire on a man with a machete who cried “Allahu Akbar”.

Soldiers fired five shots to disable a man at the entrance to the Louvre in Paris, France Friday morning after the machete-wielding attacker shouted threats and the well known Islamist phrase “Allahu Akhbar”, rushed the troops while carrying two backpacks, reports Le Figaro.

The man was shot in the stomach and bomb-disposal teams have been deployed to assess the contents of the man’s bags. Police have said no explosives have been found.

The soldiers, who are among the 100,000 deployed to the streets of France to protect schools, places of worship, railway stations, and sites of touristic interest as part of operation Sentinel were patrolling in a group of three men when the attack took place. One soldier sustained light injuries during the attack.

Meanwhile in Soviet Kanuckistan, the CBC report makes a vague report of “terrorism” without any mention of what motivated the terrorist. And they mention the previous attacks in Paris and Nice without mentioning they were carried out by jihadists. Until the Fake Media start telling the truth nothing will change.

Sorry, but in a way I find it hilarious that our haughty European friends who used to chastise us Yanks for being such Puritans are now being forced to adopt the culture of these animals.

European women are basically being told not to walk around “asking for it” and everything is being measured thru the lens of “is it offensive to the barbarians”.

Don’t forget, France did it’s part in getting the Jihad Ball Rolling when it gave sanctuary to the Ayatollah Khomeini.

It took CBS this morning about 90% into this story to mention that this was an Islamic terrorist attack, Charlie Rose tried to lead the story by saying it was a “security” issue ???WTF?

Then the woman they had subbing for NorDUH O’Donnell sure had the knives out for Trump. She asked a question saying isn’t this an Obama policy Trump has adapted, the guess politely said UH NO.

The media no doubt will develop a new translation: “It’s all Trump’s fault”.

We visited Europe during this past Xmas. We landed in Amsterdam, which as expected had limited police presence. In fact, I only saw two cops during the entire 3 days we were there.

However, our next destination was taking the train to Paris. My son hadn't been there for a few years, and was too young to really remember the social scene anyway. However, I assured him that when we arrived in Paris is would appear to be an armed camp under military lock-down.

Sure enough, the second we stepped off the train @ Gare du Nord, there was a 4-man patrol of para-military troops with submachine guns and German shepherd walking along watching people descend. That was only the beginning - the closer we got to the terminal, the more the number of military/police personnel increased.

We were staying by the Eiffel tower, and while that had an obvious security presence, nothing came close to the Xmas markets along the Champs des Elysees. First off all, there was something like 20 personnel carriers and/or mobile command units parked at the major intersection. Secondly, we started playing a game of trying to ID the different kinds of security personnel: regular cops, special cops, para-military cops and military patrols.

My wife and I have been to France many times. I mentioned to her that it's really a wonder what the French got in return for living in this kind of environment. Is their economy that much better, is their quality of life improved, how exactly did they benefit?

Oh, heck yes about Marine Le Pen. I bet her breakfast croissant with butter and jam will be extra sweet, thinking of her opportunity to restore France; then her café au lait will be extra bitter, thinking about what she is going to do to the Islamists plaguing France.

I remember being in a Paris train depot a few years back where there were teams of police and military personnel patrolling the halls while carrying machine guns. Glad to see they have the “go ahead” to use them. The French have been under attack by Muslims for a number of years, hopefully we will never see such attacks here in America but should we, deal with it the same way.

Sounds like they are engaged in a war.

The Doctors repairing his abdomen should place a transceiver in, before closing!
Then release him in the ME. Follow and when “militarily convenient”, use him as a Target for air strike!

Isn’t that the silliness of these morning talk (not news) shows? Unbearable. Serious news occurs in the evening it seems.

During Christmas 1976 I was in Paris...stayed near Gar du Nord, I think. My French/Algerian brother in law at the time said one night at dinner then, “the Muslims are going to be a problem.” 40 years later...he’s right. How terrible.
