Article says the riot was premeditated, the arson at the ROTC building was planned and the leftist goons even had a sniper on the loose.

As far as Kent State goes I was a leftist at the time and might not 'know' the real story. You're a smart person nopardons - someone I trust - so feel free to let me know...
My take is the culture is shifting away from the left and toward the radical right... (the opposite of what was happening in the early 60's). If the National Guard was brought in today the cultural impact would be different.
