The Trump administration wants to revamp and rename a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies so that it focuses solely on Islamist extremism, five people briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The program, "Countering Violent Extremism," or CVE, would be changed to "Countering Islamic Extremism" or "Countering Radical Islamic Extremism," the sources said, and would no longer target groups such as white supremacists who have also carried out bombings and shootings in the United States.

The real story is that Obama diverted agencies and programs from focusing on radical Islam, hamstrung the FBI, etc.

So much fake news these days it is hard to tell.
If you count heads of state, Castro, Maduro and Kim Jong-Il come to mind.
I remember when I worked for the Fed Govt when Obama came in. The pamphlets being sent around and we were briefed on number one threat was the radical right wing and to look out for those who talked about the constitution. Then the IRS started auditing. We were told we could not read Wikileaks. It freaked me out. The Obama admin put an all out assault on conservatives.
Who is doing the killing?
Focus on them.

Maybe save back one office to anal-probe the extremists at the Southern Poverty Law Center

This is an important action to reverse Obama’s pro-terrorism (and attempt to implement blasphemy laws) slant in the DHS, among other agencies.
