President Donald Trump surely realizes that most workers employed by the federal government diabolically oppose his views of America.
According to a new report, at least 180 of those employees "have signed up for a workshop featuring expert advice on workers rights and expressing civil disobedience." Also, dozens more federal workers have attended a support groups for discussing opposition to the Trump administration.
As President Trump settles into the White House, he will have to start examining ways to expedite his transition from the top down. His agenda is nothing more than words in the long term if the people working for him fail to carry out his promises.
Not showing up to work, taking extended vacations, filing worker's rights lawsuits, and obstructing the process in any way possible are just a few of the legal ways federal workers can bring President Trump's agenda to a halt.
From the CIA to the State Department, at some point, a mass overhaul of former employees from the Clinton, Bush and Obama eras has to happen. President Trump can sign as many executive orders as he wants, but it will mean nothing in the long run if the people who stood behind him during the campaign are not serving him as employees.
getting fired from a federal workers union job is a lot tougher than it sounds.
There is an old Ronald Reagan movie where he is working at a radio station and they try to fire him. He pulls out the “you can’t fire me, I’m under contract!” line.
So the radio station makes him do all of the crappiest jobs they can think of to try and make him quit....come in at midnight to sign-off the station, come back at 5 AM to sign it on, carry a bulky, heavy remote unit around the streets, etc.
There are plenty of ways to skin this cat.
When Obama took control, he added what can be called ‘Political Officers’ throughout the government offices.
They should be easy enough to find. New Positions created after a certain date filled by new to the government employees. Obama was such a dumbass they probably have the same job title.
They diabolically oppose Trump’s actions? Probably, but I think the author meant “diametrically”
Diabolic: Related to or coming from the devil (diabolos).
Diametric: Relating to the furthest points on a circle. More precisely, relating to the end points of a line segment which passes through the center of a circle and which extends across the entirety of a circle. By metaphor, two opinions, viewpoints or beliefs which are as far apart as possible from each other.
FIRE THEM ALL and HIRE VETS.
Not actually doing your job is one of the few reasons you can get fired from The Federal Government, isn’t it?
Probably hoping to get fired & then file a wrongful termination lawsuit.
Abolish their positions...Then, the ones that are needed, reopen the position for interviews a week later...
Disobedient children get consequences.
Yeah; any government job, actually. I worked H.R. for local government. One secretary had been shredding her filing for years (shredding is haaaard, you know!). When it was discovered, we couldn’t fire her. She was a year from retirement age, so she stayed home for a year, at FULL PAY, and then processed out via retirement.
SEIU was our nemesis and made it impossible to let poor employees go.
Transfer them to Somalia, all 180 of them
The entire state department from the janitor on up to all of the assistant SsoS should be fired, except, of course, T-Rex.
Joe McCarthy was right. It is best to clean out that department while the opportunity exists. Get rid of every last one of them.
Boy, this is a win-win for taxpayers since they all have bloated salaries.
Har. Good catch!

“Particularly, I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place in the functions of any organization of Government employees. Upon employees in the Federal service rests the obligation to serve the whole people, whose interests and welfare require orderliness and continuity in the conduct of Government activities. This obligation is paramount. Since their own services have to do with the functioning of the Government, a strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government until their demands are satisfied. Such action, looking toward the paralysis of Government by those who have sworn to support it, is unthinkable and intolerable. It is, therefore, with a feeling of gratification that I have noted in the constitution of the National Federation of Federal Employees the provision that “under no circumstances shall this Federation engage in or support strikes against the United States Government.”
—FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT August 16, 1937
They are the perpetrators of their own demise...and may it come soon.
True, but they CAN be moved to Outterslobovia and given a lower pay grade for a nothing job.
- Assign employees living in Northern Virginia to remote offices in Frederick, Maryland (and vice-versa)
- Announce a new green initiative where all air conditioning will be turned-off in Federal offices
Like I said, lots of ways to skin the cat.
After those 180 are identified, I’d ID 2 of their favorite co-workers. Once I had those 540 names, since it’s so hard to get rid of civil servants, I’d cut all the funding for those 540 positions. Let the original 180 explain why they’re all out of work.
And with 95 million out of work, There are thousands that are ready, willing and able to do their jobs.
