Senate Republicans pushed through a pair of President Trumps Cabinet nominees Wednesday, upending standard committee rules to circumvent a Democratic boycott. The Senate Finance Committee advanced a pair of Trumps nominees with only Republican members present Steven Mnuchin to head the Treasury Department, and Rep. GOP changes Dem’s Diapers.
Frankly, I’m impressed with the GOP Congressmen and Senators new found backbone, they must respect Trump and his direction and feel it’s now worth the fight.
That’s really gonna whizz of whiny liberal... that’s not fair .... y’all are all racists and Nazis and non-homosexuals.
What rules did they change?
Well, blow me over with a feather!!!!
Is that a GOP congressional spine I see starting to grow in there? Really? Looks like GOP spine, but can’t tell ya for sure as no one has seen one in such a long time...handsome thing though.....LOL
It says Dems are concerned about”Prices investment activity, including whether his political actions benefitted his personal portfolio.”
For the record, no such concern was raised about the fraudulent Clinton foundations and the outright selling of the SOS position to enrich themselves. Bastards.
I hope they keep it up
Nice to see the GOP is finding some balls. I have no doubt this would not have occurred if Trump wasn’t president.
I likes winning!!!
I don’t remember a time when the Republicans ever played HARDBALL. It’s about time!
Every day gets better and better. LOL!!!
And this is what winning is all about.
Trump can now say the vote for both was unanimous
I was worried about this boycotting. Like when the Dems in Wisconsin fled the state... Glad to see the Pubs getting a spine...
They didn’t change the rules.
They just followed the new rules put in by the Democrats and Reid.
“By unanimous consent, the Republicans gathered in the hearing room agreed to change the committees standing rules, which normally require at least one member of each party to be in attendance for committee work to proceed.”
Good. F**k em if they won’t show up for work.
“Sounds as if Trump has made Mitch his Bitch.”
Something has happened.
Mitch had warned the Rat $inators that this would happen if they didn’t act on Trump’s nominees.
They gotta come from somewhere, and the GOPe has always been notably short in such items. The current Administration has enough for all of them.
Has McConnell grown a pair or is he more afraid of Trump than he is of Chuck Schumer?
