I’ll stick to using my fender products. Say what you will about fender, but there is no sound like a Tele played through a Fender amp..
Good combo cardinal. I like the sound of my Strat through my Marshall 900 however.

Well, l think a Gibson early 60’s semi hollow on a Fender tube amp is pretty darn good my friend. Don’t forget Obama sent his goons after Gibson because they supported some republicans.
I have old Fender stuff, and I like it, specially the ‘57 Strat through the ‘56 Pro Amp. But when I gig, it’s with my Dr. Z amps!
And,,,, Kornholio is ia jerk!
I got a new toy a few months back that digitally models all sorts of amps, pre-amps, and effects combinations. You can plug the guitar into that, then plug that right into a PA (or headphones, computer) and crank out whatever kind of sound you like.
Of course it’s not going to sound 100% authentic to a professional player, but to the average listener, if you tweak the settings right, they will never know the difference - and the price beats the hell out of buying all the different amps you might want to play around with!
I’m normally an analog guy all the way but the digital modeling has gotten so good I just couldn’t resist it anymore.
Ditto. I’ve always used a Fender Tele through an old Twin Reverb.
Amen... Own 7 of them, all silverface except for my gigging 250-210 Bassman. Can’t afford blackface. 78 Princeton is still my favorite. Not sure how many guitars... One can never have too many guns or guitars! BTW, what’s a Magnatone?
