Looks like they are dipping into California/NY. There was not a 9% move in two days.

Why do you believe that? When the 24/7 media coverage is incessantly negative, shrill and condemnatory, yes, media is very powerful and influential. You underestimate the media.

Trump is going to have to learn to play the game. He will not be able to survive by being a bull in a china shop. He can still do what he wants, he just has to be a bit more subtle about it.

Obama presented a perfectly no drama persona publicly, and then did what he wanted to do all with a smile.

I support what he did with the temporary ban, but it should have been implemented much much better. First, you consult with the leaders of both parties, explain why you doing it, highlight it is just temporary and it can come across as non threatening. He could have made a speech or go to the White House press room and announced and explained it to the public and he could have sounded thoughtful and concerned and it could have been presented in a non threatening manner.

When you just throw it out there, you are at the mercy of others and the press.

So what this has done, it has emboldened the democrats to go against Trump much more stronger with his appointees today and for them to plot further trouble. All this was unnecessary.

I realize everyone here wants and enjoys Trump showing off his power, but to what end? This is called governing and sometimes subtle works better than a punch. Trump will learn, but to receive the public beating that he did this weekend in his first 10 days hurts him. I did not see anyone rally for him in the streets. The passion is all on the democrat side. This also helps to recruit better dem candidates for the midterms, etc. etc.
