By a great stroke of luck, I read frequently about immigration law. One of my best friends, Nolan Rappaport, is a nationally renowned lawyer/expert on immigration law. He sends me his writings — lately, for the Hill — and I read them.

I have learned that the President, through many decades, has been given by Congress immense latitude in enlarging or diminishing immigration.

Mr. Obama could admit about as many Muslims as he wanted. Mr. Trump can keep out as many Muslims as he wants. Since the early 20th century, the U.S. has not even remotely been “a nation of immigrants” as the college kids shout. We have been at times among the very most restricted nations on earth. Just ask the Chinese or the Japanese or the Jews desperately trying to get out of Nazi Europe.

When Mr. Trump issued his EO calling for A TINY bit of restriction, an EO which was a joke of miniaturization compared with Mr. Obama’s EOs, he was well within his rights as President. (GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEADS, COLLEGE KIDS… HE’S PRESIDENT! YOUR CANDIDATE LOST. SHE WAS NAPPING WHILE TRUMP WAS WORKING!) When the few judges blocked a tiny tiny tiny bit of the Trump EO they were not questioning his basic rights to restrict immigration… only how it worked and requiring hearings for some persons.

BTW, thanks to my pal, Attorney Rappaport, I have learned that there are a ton of immigrants wanting hearings and very very few immigration judges. Immigrants will have to learn patience.

So, point one… get hip. Mr. Trump is the new sheriff in Immigrant City.

Second, the media is acting as if the whole nation is in rebellion over the EOS on immigration. Not quite.

I think the higher courts are going to be afraid of Trump. Particularly the “evolving constitutionalists”.

They know they have a strong foothold on the complete judicial system, but they can’t usurp it yet. so they’re likely to fail at the higher levels emboldening non-progressives to fight back against this fringe, fringe but very well coordinated and funded effort at destabilizing the west

They cannot overcome and reinterpret an enumerated duty of the President. They’ve boxed themselves in. They cannot find the Constitution unconstitutional and if they did try that, then this president Trump will tell them to mind their own business.

And the US Code gives the legal authority to the president to do anything to any group of people at any time for as long as he wishes for anything HE deems necessary for our national security.

This storm over the EO is only preparing the ground for the real fight — when Trump starts building the wall. Trump’s promise to stop illegal immigration is one of the reasons he won, if not the main reason. The democrats’ principle objective, to destroy the traditional United States, depends on the importation of massive number of third world immigrants. It is their line in the sand. It is the only thing that matters to them. Democrats want to see vast hordes of immigrants enter the United States like they did in Germany. Democrats’ goal — get rid of traditional America, get rid of Americans, and get rid of Christianity. Utopia just around the corner.

Keep in mind: “We The People” refers DIRECTLY to the citizens of the United States.

In that atmosphere, one who is not [nor willing to assimilate as] a citizen of the United States is not afforded the several protections found in the US Constitution until such time they become nationalized.

In sum, the US Constitution is NOT APPLICABLE to a so-called “global citizenry”.

I’d say that given time, libs running out of money and the media finally waking up and reporting the truth at least 65% of American voters will realize that Trump is destined to be the best president of all time. Liberals know this; therefore their sordid desperation.
