Why in the hell did these people even feel the need to release a statement at all?
No one is paying these idiots for their OPINIONS!
Why is it that these CEO’s today feel they have to tell us what they think? I could not give a crap, keep out of politics plain and simple.
“Why in the hell did these people even feel the need to release a statement at all?
No one is paying these idiots for their OPINIONS!”
Unlike most conservatives, liberals feel politically entitled and self-important. They believe they can affect the world with the magic of their opinions rendered into words. Notice corporate people who quietly gave their private funds to support marriage legislation saying marriage was between a woman and a man were publically vilified for private actions. At the same time CEO’s committed their corporation’s public funds to supporting gay marriage, an issue affecting fewer than 2% of the public and were lauded as heroes. Turning conservatives into pariahs and liberals into rock stars is part of the reason. Imagine the impact on your ego when your name makes the news across the nation. Those who disagree with the position are either not speaking or whatever they do say is not carried to the extend of the coverage of the CEO. There is no apparent blowback. (Although I just published the stock chart for Starbucks in a different thread and it is on a long downward trend.)
