Looks a little bit like a young Nancy Pelosi.

Doll? It looks like a salt shaker, or maybe a decorative bottle stopper depending upon scale.

Oh, for the days when editors did their jobs. I thought it meant the poor doll ruined, disgraced or tarnished the site.

Hmmmm.... you didn’t think the doll should’ve been wearing a bikini instead of a one-piece?

It’s not a doll, it’s an action figure.

My guess — it’s a fertility fetish.

Na, my niece had one of those.
It's Osaka Barbie.

So, 2000 years old would make this an Ainu artifact?

So, 300 BC, they were able to make a rather primitive-looking doll figurine.
Meanwhile, in that same time period, the Greeks were doing this

Yes, and look at the Greeks now.

You will still see similar ‘dolls’ like this especially in the countryside. They often are put in place where a death occurred (similar to the crosses you see on the side of the road sometimes) alongside a road or near the approach to a shrine/temple. Often they are dedicated after the death of a child.
