Simple solution is to cancel all green cards, all visas, including H1B and L1. Do this for all countries. Then there is no problem with who is being singled out. Let the Trump administration’s new staff and directives then filter people reentering or coming to the United States for the first time.

15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi nationals.
Saudi Arabia should definitely be on the list.
It’s a Pakistani cleric that is operating the training camps across America.
Pakistan should definitely be on the list.

He might want to throw in Belgium, Malmo, the Arrondissement of Paris, and the like. Places where ISIS is particularly successful at finding recruits.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan definitely SHOULD be on the restricted travel list. Both are known ‘bakeries’ of terrorists and their training grounds. Expanding the list may even increase it’s credibility. Everyone knows that the Saudi’s promote and export terror, but since they have billion dollar investments around the world, the Saudis are rarely called out on this. They are used to literally buying silence and passivity. It worked with the Bushes and Obama.

Also, if Trump just wanted to “ban Muslims” (which he does NOT) then wouldn’t he have banned those from Indonesia, which is the largest muslim country with 87%?

They need to ban “students” from these countries too. Get them out of our universities.

That is what I’m talking about - the country list needs to be widely expanded.

"President Trump could issue additional executive orders expanding the list of Muslim-majority countries whose people are banned from emigrating to the United States,"

He sure can, and I think he will. The current seven countries on the travel ban list are only the opening salvo. There will be more, as our intelligence agencies uncover information about terrorist threats emanating from other muslim hellholes.
