A story that a supporter of Donald Trump invoked the president’s name in an attack on a Muslim airline employee grew more complicated as the alleged assailant’s political giving shows a long history of donations to liberal Democrats.

A Breitbart News perusal of the businessman’s giving to federal campaigns shows thousands of dollars donated to Rep. Jim McGovern, a Worcester Democrat critical of the president, as well as financial support for former Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts and former Congressman Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island, both liberal Democrats. Rhodes also contributed $1,500 to a Political Action Committee associated with former Senator Scott Brown, a Republican from Massachusetts.
Turtle Boy Sports, a Worcester-area website, broke the story of Rhodes giving to various local politicians opposed to Trump’s agenda, including Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty, a Democrat supported by public-employees unions who reiterated his stance of “welcoming” immigrants, which includes the city’s police force not cooperating on the enforcement of laws pertaining to illegal immigrants, in response to the Trump administration withholding federal funds from sanctuary cities.
“If he’s a successful businessman and an avid Trump supporter, he must’ve donate[d] to Trump’s campaign, or at least to politicians who are like-minded,” Turtle Boy wrote. “Well, turns out he has donated to many campaigns before, but every single person he has donated to has one thing in common – they’ve all publicly disavowed Trump.”

Yet another fake ‘hate crime.’
There’s a list of these somewhere. At least a dozen since Trump’s election. They should charge the faker with the actual hate crime. They had the intent to divide us based on race. THAT is the only ‘hate crime’ taking place.
Yesterday. Too many holes in the story. Don’t you think that cameras cover every INCH of an airport? No proof-just fake news.

Surprise, surprise, surprise ... yet another HOAX “hate crime” from someone DESPERATE for “victim status”.
I think we need to watch to see if the charges against this guy get mysteriously dropped because of ‘lack of sufficient evidence.’ But they will have already gotten their headlines out of it, won’t they? And will never publicize the dismissal, or will just tut, tut that it’s a shame those Trump supporters get away with this kind of hate.
Meanwhile, the hate-crime story was all over the media - and all over Facebook and other reposting sites. Yet none of the accounts would be branded “fake news” because the places where they appeared are supposedly reputable. This is a propaganda war, plain and simple.
I think about everyone smelled something wrong with the story. There was.
Precisely so. And I would bet dollars-to-donuts this alleged perp is in on the whole thing.
And many mainstream news sites don’t allow comments on these stories because they know there’s a good chance it’s a set-up or completely false. This is simply guerrilla war “journalism”, with leftists, islamists and the press all on the same side. They attack quickly with big headlines, block any response and move on to the next attack.
So what is the guy’s version of the story? He apparently disagrees with the woman’s version, so he could be a victim because he was wearing a tie or something and assumed to be a Trump supporter.
Yes, that’s possible. I would still bet based on the available evidence that he’s in on the whole thing.
hmm. Kind of like the reaction to Tim Tebow's "Tebow". Lots of hostility brought to the fore with that.
Fake news…as usual. And Facebook is hiring that Leftist worm, David Brock, to help block conservative news outlets from FB, claiming he will spot fake news! FB will have to be boycotted at some point.

No Muslim should be allowed anywhere near an airport, ever!
Put this guy on the no fly list. Make him an example.
