Hamilton' cast to sing at Super Bowl 51

NEW YORK (AP) Original cast members of the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit ''Hamilton: An American Musical,'' will sing ''America the Beautiful'' during pregame festivities at Super Bowl 51, the NFL and Fox announced Friday.

The cast of Hamilton (the Broadway play which insulted our vice-president and lectured him as if they know better) will be performing The National Anthem at this year’s Superbowl. Apparently people think that just because these Ultra Progressive actors are playing the roles of our forefathers, they actually have the values and brains of our forefathers. They do not! They sing and they dance and they tear our country down - THAT is who they are! They are not Hamilton et al. In my estimation, any organization that would support the level of disrespect and ill regard for our elected officials that these facists showed VP Mike Pence and his children is not worthy of my time, my energy or frankly any level of Interest.

The same goes for anyone who sponsors this ridiculous game. I’m hoping that you will all reconsider (if you were already going to watch) and not watch this game and spread this word around. We cannot turn a blind eye to our values just because it may be the easy thing to do and think “what difference would it make if I watch the Superbowl?” It makes a lot of difference because the more people the tune in, the more they get away with the constant disrespect of our flag, our values, our president or vice-president and the list goes on and on. The more we watch the commercials and buy the products that sponsor these events, the longer they will be in business and that list goes on and on..... food for thought. Thank you very much.

On the whole NFL/sponsorship thing, I'm guessing that the software associated with today's cable boxes/feeds is such
that the providers/networks would absolutely know if several million viewers changed channels at the VERY end of the second quarter.

So I'd encourage folks whose addiction compels them to watch the SB to at least tune in for the actual game only and send a hearty FU to the sponsors underwriting the traditional leftard bile.

And by the by, I LOVE the game of football. When I was born, my dad’s first gift for me was a football. I was a girl, but what the heck. I was Dad’s first future football fan. I grew up watching games with him. College, pro, whatever. I married a football fan. Again, high school, college, pro, whatever. We’ve now been NFL-free, me for 2 years, him for this one. We love football. We loathe The NFL. Pro fans need a new league.

I'm not. How many other groups could have been chosen for this? Why Hamilton? It is IN YOUR FACE and I don't have to have a bunch if gay singers forced upon my TV screen chosen from thousands of "normal" singing groups. To hell with the Super Bowl and the politically progressive NFL. Lady GaGa was bad enough, this ices it for me.
