Why is it that juries are always admonished to “follow the law” but elected officials give themselves the right to determine what the law is?
How can a law enforcement officer arbitrarily decide which laws will be enforced and which ones won’t? I would say that the citizens of the county should start a recall but, since it’s the moonbats in Austin/Travis County who elected her, that will never happen.

Who authorizes counties in Texas?
I live in a county in Alabama that was created by the Alabama legislature from parts of existing counties in 1866 (Elmore). Other counties were merged together/apart in different ways over the years.
The Texas governor and legislature should merge Travis county with other more conservative counties or gerrymander new borders to force her out.
Sheriffs are elected officials on their right.
So what can the governor do to her?
He can’t fire her.
He might be able to have the state cops arrest her?
Umm......
Have the Attorney General of Texas bring a Quo Warranto action against her and get her removed from office.
