Shortly after the markets opened on Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) topped the 20,000 market for the first time ever and would finish the day in positive territory at 20,068.51. Normally this would be considered a major news story and would be cause for a sizable amount of press coverage on the three major cable news channels — Fox News, MSNBC and CNN.
That news, however, did not get much attention on CNN. According to a search on TVEyes, which is a media monitoring service that describes itself as a “search engine for broadcast,” for the term “Dow,” the milestone was only given two segments as of 7 p.m. ET. At approximately 9:30 a.m. ET and 10:30 a.m. ET, CNN Money’s Paul La Monica reported from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Yesterday ABC News stopped reporting the DOW and, instead, started reporting the S&P 500 being down.
So that means a total of 10 CNN Viewers missed out on CNN reporting the 20K milestone:)
Maybe it’s because the people who watch CNN have no idea what that means. Look at the woman who marched on D.C. Last week, do you really think most of them even know what the DOW is?
I don’t watch ANY of the cable news channels and was watching WRC 4 local but they got so biased during the campaign that I dropped them and found a local channel DC50 and they weren’t all that bad.
BUT
They have taken to calling President Trump- Trump (To be honest I don’t recall how they referred to BO) and I figured I could live with that but the other day they mentioned the DOW over 20000 and how it had went up 1500 points since the Inauguration.
BUT
SHE (F-B) just had to throw in that the rise was also due to the strong economy pResident BO left or had initiated.

Was taking WashPO on line but dropped all but sports since it is so corrupted with anti Trump & Cabinet.

CNN last night continues to push the Trump Voter Fraud story. Gotta love those little Marxists. They don’t give up.
Had that happened while Barack Obama was President they would have run a day long banner across the bottom of the picture and would have had a panel of guests on 3 times through the day to tell us exactly how Barack Obama did it!
