President Trump's secret plan may not even involve the military. This (just like all the other activity) will be very interesting to see.
I've noticed Trump dropped such hints back during his campaigns - smalls ones - but I picked up on them. Am pretty sure any plan will be multifaceted but there are methods of interrupting support that are no doubt at the top of Trump's list. What was interesting is that this ISIS bunch were nobodies, then suddenly they had all sorts of resources, money, equipment, munitions. Then I remember reading where a Kurd reported if they fired one rocket they'd get a swarm of rockets fired right back at them, every time. Find ways to cut the logistical support of ISIS and they'll get seriously hampered if not fold outright.
