Environmental Protection Agency employees have not accepted Donald Trumps victory and are still coming to work in tears more than two months after the election.
At EPA headquarters, the mood remains dark, ProPublica reported Wednesday. A longtime career communications employee said in a phone interview Tuesday that more than a few friends were coming to work in tears each morning as they grappled with balancing the practical need to keep their jobs with their concerns for the issues they work on.
Trumps victory has been tough for bureaucrats. The State Department held stress workshops after the election so they would not become paralyzed by fear. EPA employees were caught crying before, just after the election, as were White House aides. Energy Department employees were granted counseling. Sobbing staffers greeted Hillary Clinton on Capitol Hill a month after her loss.

Coal miners were in tears when they had to go home and tell the family they lost their jobs.
More winning! Drain the swamp!
Awe, too bad—not!!!
They need to start carrying canteens so they don’t get too dehydrated. :0) Or not.
I laughed the first time I saw it, and I laugh every time I see it, even when I’m the one posting it.
Normally, I don’t take joy in the misery of others, but leftists want to destroy our country and way of life, and they lorded over us when we just had to sit and take it for the last eight years.
It’s all off the board for them.
Gee, when oppressors feel oppressed themselves.
Schadenfreude. noun. Pleasure derived by someone from another person’s misfortune.
For years the EPA reveled in the pain it caused Americans by taking their property and denying them the use of it.
I wonder what the job market will be for former bureaucrats with no experience in business?
Bump!
And if the EPA people have heard about the State Department swamp being drained today, they’ll be suicidal.
Anyhow, if they’re crying, I want pictures for my collection.
Mission creep.
Every government bureaucracy starts out with a specific, limited mission and ends up trying to run the world.
"Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket."
-- Eric Hoffer,
If there is a trash can in the epa full of tear-soaked tissues, that department is a wetland and subject to complete removal of all human beings, buildings, vehicles and contents. Regs.
If you are walking thru any downtown area with tall buildings, keep an eye on the skies...
Why are these ppl crying over fake jobs? They’ve been fortunate enough to “work” all this time on mostly nonsense. Go home.
Well the 90% retirement plan went away in 80s. They are on a different plan called FERS now.
To paraphrase McDonald’s....
I’m lovin it.
Ok that was a quote, but whatever. ;)
I’m lovin it.
So, in other words, they’re not doing a LICK of work anymore.
Get them out on the highways picking up trash!
Please. Refer to yourself as a conservationist and not an environmentalist.
A conservationist wisely utilizes the natural resources God gave us while an environmentalist refuses to use them, not does he want us to.
It’s a critical difference.
“A bunch of Hillary/Kerry State Dept. bureaucrats quit today”
That was the first story that came out. I believe we learned later that they were FIRED. :)
Fire them everyone.
I am assuming that it isn’t feasible to hire a lawyer. Maybe though a letter to the IG for the EPA might get some action. Now that OBAMA is gone, a letter to your Congressman or Senator might help. My deepest sympathies to your friend.
OH, that returning pendulum hitting them between the eyes huuurrrrrts!!! Cry schmucks- scout out those high buildings and bridges now, beat the rush!
