Obviously Christopher Steele, a very long experienced British intelligence analyst had some very strong motives - money???, political??? - for taking unverified and unverifiable information, 2nd hand. and originating with a source no one had vetted.
Mr. Steele’s motives should be the subject of an investigation in the U.K.
