TSA 'choke points' kept Trump supporters off the Mall (Only 12 TSA checkpoints admitting people)
American Thinker ^ | 24 Jan 17 | Ann Kane

Not only did anti-Trump professional protesters disrupt and block inaugural attendees, but security checkpoints also kept untold numbers of Trump supporters from getting through to the National Mall to witness the president take the oath of office.

An online search for information about the security checkpoints revealed the following:

Six hundred fifty thousand general admission attendees were expected with 12 TSA checkpoints along the parade route and the mall. Two hundred fifty thousand who had tickets were processed through separate checkpoints. The TSA said they could screen 1,500 people per hour. So it would take 36 hours to process 18,000 per hour if crowds were evenly distributed throughout the day before the event.

Did the powers that be want to restrict access to Trump's inauguration so the media could claim that the crowds were much smaller than Obama's? And how in the world did 2 million people make it onto the mall back in 2008 if these same restrictions were in place?

Exposing lies and corruption certainly has a place. I intitially got annoyed over the weekend when Spicer sparred with the media about crowd size. I, too, felt that there were more important topics. But I’ve since changed my mind. The media needs exposed at every opportunity we have, and something like this, involving the TSA, also needs exposed. There is without a doubt a shadow government in place to delegitimize Trump. Expose them. Call them out. It’s the only right thing to do.

OK. Score one for the D.C. permanent bureaucracy looking to stick it to Trump.

Watch and learn, Mr. President.
And take revenge. For all of us.

Yup! Let’s not forget about all the muzzies infiltrating the TSA, as well. TSA needs a top-down investigation!

A friend who attended said that to get into the event, security required a strip search. Yes, strip search. Not sure if that was TSA or SS or what.

On the eve of the Las Vegas debate (the last one) Trump stopped in Grand Junction, CO. The security line was somewhere in the vicinity of a half mile plus long and it took 1.5 hours to clear the security check point. Those who came late missed out ... the estimated crowd around 7 thousand. Great turnout and knowing Trump was getting this type of enthusiastic crowd almost everywhere he went (played down by the liberal MSM) I predicted he would be our next President.

Disband the TSA.

Find their ammo cache and sell it to the general public.

After leaving L’Enfant Metro Station I was in a line on 7th Ave from 7am to 1030am on Inauguration Day. At one point we only moved 50 feet in 30 minutes.

The TSA checkpoint consisted of four lines: two with tables to check those with purses/bags and two lines for those without bags. It took up about one car lane on 7th ave. There was plenty of room for more agents.

It was certainly a slow business. It was frustrating to see fellow Americans cutting in line. Who sees a long line of people, then tries to sneak in the middle of it? More than the long wait, this was the most disconcerting thing about that ordeal. One group of four tried to sneak in front of us. My relatives and I loudly called them out. I said they were as bad as liberals, always taking things that don’t belong to them, like spots in line. The ‘me, me, me’ attitude of some people is pretty disgusting.

All that said, it was an awesome experience. When Hillary was shown on the nearby screen, a chorus of boos and chants of ‘lock her up’ broke out. More boos for Chuck U Schumer. Absolute relief and elation once Trump took the oath.

It was cold and crowded, so we caught the Metro and watched the parade in the comfort of home on TV.

Finally this is brought to light! I was in DC for the inauguration. We got lucky as some woman gave us tickets which allowed us to get in to the orange section. There was a group from my sons high school though and they waited in a line for access to the mall in a massive line (sons friend said at 8:00am it was the longest line he had ever seen). They waited for 5 hours and never got in! They ended up going down to the Washington Monument and hung out there during the ceremony. We tried to go to the parade but it was completely disorganized. We tried to access the parade route from the south side through the mall but all the access points were closed. The officers would not give us any information just that we could try the next entrance down several blocks. We walked for one hour in a massive loop around the parade route and when we finally reached an entrance on the north side the entrances that were open had long lines but we could see that they were only letting a few people through. Based on the pace they were letting people through we decided to forget it as my kids at this point just wanted to go home as they were exhausted.

I think this is probably the first day Trump and his Admin is hearing about this too because his press people would have used it while debating the chuck-todds on tv.

AND I believe it was planned because the Liberals created the story, knowing Conway etc would try to dispute it- and the Libs would NOT DROP IT.

It also had 2 other “benefits” for them:

-it set the tone for the-see-we-told-you-so- Trump’s a big fat liar and if he “lies about something so small, imagine the lies he will tell about important things”. So now they can refer to this supposed “little lie” forever. They can even say they WERE right about “less people” being in the disputed area, but not give the rest of the story, that thousands could not get in.

And secondly, it kept them from talking about the rioters etc.

This is what they do. We should not engage with these people who worship the father of lies...the only reason I heard what was said was because I live with Liberals and they worship Chuck and Rachel and Van Jones etc. So the TV is constantly on and if I am around, I can’t help but here it.
They do not listen to or read anything that disagrees with their dogma, even if the facts are in dispute. If Chuck etc says it’s true, then it’s true.

I also want the federal government de-weaponized. This is just one more example of the use of government agencies to harm a certain segment of the American people.

It needs to be publicized and stopped, IMO.

I agree.

However, you could have had Superman and Batman in charge and with only 12 checkpoints, even they would have failed.

Yes, get rid of DHS and TSA. Let’s look at how Israel does it at their check points.

TSA has zero record of thwarting any acts of terror associated with any terrorist organization from anywhere in the world at least per Wikipedia.org/wiki/Transportation-Security-Administration.

And considering the body searches, the whole body scanners would seem adequate...unless we have developed invisible to scanners guns.
