While I 100% agree with you. Often, we start off serving God and move toward thinking we are God. It’s a natural tenancy for everyone.
One of my favorite movies is the old Sgt. York. It exemplifies the inner turmoil I have on this subject. Is there such a thing as a “Just War?”
It’s a tough one, even though I view death as merely a learning experience for my soul and not “the end.”
I too seek every day to live my life as God’s servant. The most difficult part of it is to clearly hear my bosses instructions for me to follow in serving Him. My daily prayers include, “Please guide me in following Thy Will, and please help me to stay out of your way.”
